You can measure your blood sugar with MediTouch very discreetly.

As a mini lab in a compact mobile format, the MediTouch monitor looks more like a MP3 player as a blood glucose monitor! That helps you maintain privacy with blood glucose measurements. So that people with diabetes can use their usual readings, MediTouch is available in two versions - mg / dL and mmol / L ; see pack front to confirm which you have.

  • The glucose monitor automatically turns on when the test strip is inserted.
  • First the device asks the test time – indicate either before or after lunch. Then begins the blood glucose measurement. When the MediTouch test strip has enough blood, you hear a beep and the blood glucose monitor starts a countdown. After approximately five seconds you will see the reading.
  • The built in memory stores up to 360 test results can be easily accessed.
  • The MediTouch glucose monitor will, with periodic blood glucose measurements, average the different time periods and calculate the blood glucose measurements at certain times of day.

Your MediTouch blood glucose monitor also displays if an unusable strip has been accidentally deployed; when the battery is too weak; if blood glucose levels are out of range; and whether the ambient temperature is too high or too low for an accurate glucose measurement.

Remember the environment!

When blood glucose measurement is completed and the MediTouch glucose monitor, if not used for at least two minutes, switches itself off automatically. This protects and gives a longer life for the batteries!
